After graduating from Wentworth Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science, he worked at the Museum of Science for 14 years where he worked creating and repairing hundreds of different exhibits and interactives dating from the 1960s to modern.
In late 2023 the museum created a new AI Exhibit featuring the Spot robot from Boston Dynamics. As the senior electronics technician he was assigned with maintaining it. From this, he met frequently with people from Boston Dynamics and was told about a position that would have him travel around the country with Spot. Matthew applied and was accepted and has been traveling with Spot for almost 2 years!
