Jupiter: King of Planets

Jupiter is the biggest of our solar system’s planets, and a world vastly different from our own. We will explore this giant gas ball, its turbulent atmosphere, and its fascinating collection of moons.  Discover what hold together it’s swirling Great Red Spot, and learn about a moon that spews hundreds of volcanoes, and another encased in ice.
Participants will create a model of Jupiter and it’s moons to take home.

This program is designed for ages 9 -14, but all ages are welcome to join. With plenty of activities and interactive discussions, this workshop is perfect for curious minds eager to learn how humans have studied our universe for over 400 years.
