The Life and Death of Stars

Come Learn the Life Story of Stars!
Discover how stars are born, live, and die in an exciting, hands-on event for all ages. Will a star end its life as a white dwarf, neutron star, or black hole? Why do stars have different colors—and what do those colors mean? Enjoy interactive activities and create a stellar take-home craft!

This program is designed for ages 9 -14, but all ages are welcome to join. With plenty of activities and interactive discussions, this workshop is perfect for curious minds eager to learn how humans have studied our universe for over 400 years!

Registration Fee:
$5 for members, $15 for non-members
General Admission to the Discovery Center is included; capacity is limited, registration is required.
