This isn’t just a watch party—it’s a front-row seat to history and a direct investment in the explorers, engineers, and problem-solvers of tomorrow.

The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center is proud to be New Hampshire’s central gathering place for historic space milestones—starting with Artemis II and continuing with future Artemis missions, planetary landings, and major spaceflight events.

As the world prepares for humanity’s return to deep space, you’re invited to join fellow space enthusiasts, families, and future explorers for a once-in-a-generation mission event. By filling out our interest form, you’ll be the first to receive exclusive updates as the Discovery Center’s plans take shape for this unforgettable launch viewing experience.

Mission Overview: Artemis II

Building on the success of Artemis I, Artemis II marks a major milestone in human spaceflight. This historic mission will be NASA’s first crewed launch aboard the powerful Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, carrying astronauts in the Orion spacecraft farther from Earth than any humans have traveled in over 50 years.
